You can request deletion of your I They Near You account and associated personal information. This page explains how to contact us, how we verify requests, and what happens next.
This request channel is available on the web. Sending a request does not mean that deletion has already been completed.
We need to protect your account while handling your request responsibly. These are the steps our support process is designed to follow.
Use the email link on this page to contact our support team. Identify your account using the registered email address or phone number and tell us whether you are a customer or service provider.
We may contact you to verify that you control the account. Never email your password, one-time verification code, or identity documents as part of an initial request.
We will review your request and determine which account data can be deleted, which information must be retained for a legitimate legal or operational reason, and whether any outstanding matters need to be resolved.
Our support team will communicate the outcome of your request. If some records must be retained, we will explain the applicable reason and handling where appropriate.
Our goal is to remove personal information that is no longer needed, while handling records that have a valid reason to remain in accordance with applicable requirements.
Personal profile details, contact information, account preferences, and associated profile information will be considered for deletion.
Provider profiles, uploaded photographs, and verification information will be reviewed for deletion, including associated files held by our storage providers where applicable.
Eligible search history, notifications, messages, attachments, and other personal information associated with the account will be reviewed for deletion or appropriate anonymisation.
Some information may need to be retained for a legitimate purpose, such as financial recordkeeping, payment disputes, fraud prevention, security investigations, or compliance with applicable law.
Where retention is necessary, the information should be limited to what is required, protected appropriately, and retained only for the applicable period. Information that no longer needs to be kept should be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
If an account has an unresolved booking, payment, support case, or dispute, we may need to review the circumstances before completing all aspects of the request. This does not remove your right to submit a deletion request.
